Appropriations Requests
Congresswoman Emilia Sykes invites you to submit requests for the FY25 appropriations cycle. The annual appropriations process is a tool that Congress uses to invest in policies and programs that help our communities. Submitting your appropriations requests also provides another opportunity for Congress to hear directly from you – the constituent – about how our federal funding should be prioritized and spent.
Submitting a request for funding does not guarantee that funding will be appropriated. All requests must comply with House rules.

The deadline to submit requests for FY25 is March 29, 2024 at 6 pm. For assistance with this form, please call the Washington, DC office at (202) 225 –6265.
Note: This deadline is an estimate as we await further instructions from the Appropriations Committee on the FY25 Appropriations process.
Community Project Funding Requests
Congresswoman Sykes is now accepting Community Project Funding requests. Community Project Funding requests are due by Friday, March 29 at 6 pm.
Community Project Funding allows Members of Congress to target federal funds towards projects and programs that will address the most significant needs facing the communities they represent. Only state, local, and tribal governments; publicly owned entities; and certain non-profit entities with a quasi-government purpose are eligible to request Community Project Funding.
