About The Event

Congresswoman Emilia Sykes warmly invites you to Academy Day! This event will give participants the opportunity to learn more about attending a U.S. Military Service Academy, as well as how to apply for a nomination. Academy Day will be held Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to noon at Buchtel Community Leanring Center (1040 Copley Road, Akron, Ohio).

The event will feature representatives from the U.S. Military Service Academies, who will be available to answer questions about their programs and admissions process. Team Sykes will also be available to provide information on our nomination application processes.
