About The Event

Join Congresswoman Emilia Sykes for the 2026 Congressional Art Show & Awards Ceremony! The show will feature 40 artists from across Ohio's 13th Congressional District who submitted for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. The overall winner for our district will be featured in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year, and will be honored at a reception with other winners from across the country.

The art show will be held at Summit Artspace, located at 140 E. Market Street, Akron, Ohio Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. Guests are invited to walk through the gallery and celebrate the award winners.

Awards will be announced for multiple categories. Most awards were determinded by an experienced judging panel. You are also invited to pick your favorite piece of art and vote for the People's Choice Award here.
