Housing quality, stability, and affordability are closely linked to social, emotional, and physical health outcomes. These impacts are often intergenerational, with historic housing discrimination continuing to influence present-day maternal health outcomes.

The Safe Housing Grants Webinar will connect stakeholders with funding opportunities to help address these challenges. The session will provide information on federal grant programs that aim to curb housing instability, including homelessness, and its root causes. The cities of Akron and Canton will also provide information on how these programs are administered at the local level.
