About The Event

Join Congresswoman Sykes to learn more about the Social Security Fairness Act and how it impacts you! This legislation was recently signed into law by President Biden and will eliminate the Windfall Elimination Provision and the Government Pension Offset from the Social Security Act. Before the law’s signing, public service employees were unable to receive their full Social Security benefits if they also received other forms of retirement benefits, such as a pension.

The event will be held over the phone from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28. Those who RSVP using the form below will be called by our office on the day of the event.
