Rep. Sykes Announces 2026 Congressional Readers Club
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) announced the 2026 Congressional Readers Club for Ohio’s 13th District, which is open to K-12 students across the district. All participants will be invited to a celebration with Rep. Sykes at the end of the summer. Students who read 20 hours or more from June 1 to August 21 will receive a certificate of recognition from the Congresswoman, and participate in an end of summer celebration.
“I am excited to announce the Congressional Readers Club for Ohio’s 13th Congressional District,” said Rep. Sykes. “As we look ahead to the summer, the Congressional Readers Club is a great opportunity for students to continue to learn and grow year-round.”
Interested students and parents should visit sykes.house.gov/services/student-opportunities/congressional-readers-club to sign up and print a reading log to track their student’s hours. The student who reads the most hours in each grade will receive a special recognition.
