AKRON, OH — Today, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) launched the application process for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition, a nationwide high school arts competition sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The winning artwork of the district's competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, alongside winning artwork from all participating districts across the country. The deadline to submit artwork to Rep. Sykes’ office for consideration is April 5, 2024 by 5 p.m.
“I am excited to once again showcase the incredible talent of high school students in Ohio’s 13th Congressional District,” said Rep. Sykes. “The 2024 Congressional Art Competition is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their creativity. I encourage every high school student in our district with a passion for art to apply with their submission so we may proudly display your talent in our nation’s capital.”
