Rep. Sykes Issues Statement On Supreme Court Decision in Moyle v. United States

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) issued the following statement after the Supreme Court handed down its decision in Moyle v. United States:

“Let’s be clear — this decision is not a victory; rather, it leaves the door wide open for continued attacks on abortion care across the country. Women should not have to live in fear and uncertainty that their freedom to access reproductive healthcare could be taken away at any moment. The fact remains that every pregnant patient, no matter where they live, should be able to get the emergency care they need, including abortion. I’ll keep fighting to ensure people, not extreme politicians, can make their own decisions about their health, bodies, and lives,” said Rep. Sykes.
