Rep. Sykes Statement On Impeachment Inquiry Sham
WASHINGTON, D.C. —U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) released the following statement after Congressional Republicans passed a resolution yesterday to authorize its sham impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden:
“People in Ohio’s 13th Congressional District are tired of divisive, partisan politics. They sent me to Congress to lower costs and grow the middle class, not engage in completely unfounded, partisan impeachment inquiries,” said Rep. Sykes. “It is embarrassing and completely disrespectful to the people of my district that Congress is wasting time on baseless impeachment inquiries instead of working to address real issues like lowering costs, keeping our communities safe, and increasing access to affordable healthcare. I’ll continue putting people over politics and working to deliver real, meaningful results for our communities.”
