2026 Water Resources Development Act Webinar

On January 7, 2026, the Office of Congresswoman Emilia Sykes held a briefing on the Water Resources Development Act in anticipation of WRDA reauthorization. The Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) is a biannual legislative package that provides for the development of water and related resources by authorizing the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) to conduct studies, construct projects, and research activities that can lead to the improvement of rivers and harbors of the U.S. Please note, WRDA is strictly authorizing legislation and does NOT appropriate funding.
