Healthy Communities Grants Webinar

Rep. Sykes hosted a Healthy Communities Webinar, with special guests from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The event brought together local governments, health professionals, non-profits, and the private sector in Ohio’s 13th Congressional District to learn about federal funding opportunities and how to access additional federal resources to keep our communities healthy and secure for the future. The webinar provided an overview of funding opportunities and deadlines for various grant opportunities for urban farmers and urban agriculture, food coalitions and food security, and maternal and infant mortality and nutrition.
