Rep. Sykes honors the "Founding Mothers" of the Domestic Violence Project

This week, Rep. Sykes recognized the “Founding Mothers” of Canton’s Domestic Violence Project, which is celebrating its 45th Anniversary, as our Champions of the Week: Helen Syrios, Nancy Boylan, and the late Gertrude Kennedy. Because of these courageous women’s efforts, the Domestic Violence Project has provided shelter to thousands of women and children in Stark County and I’m proud to support them in strengthening protections for survivors of intimate partner?violence.
