Rep. Sykes Hosts Supporting Our Communities Grants Seminar

Rep. Sykes hosted a Supporting Our Communities Grants Webinar, with special guests from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The event brought together local governments, health professionals, non-profits, and the private sector in Ohio’s 13th Congressional District to learn about federal funding opportunities and how to access additional federal resources to keep our communities healthy and secure for the future. The webinar provided an overview of funding opportunities and deadlines for various grant opportunities related to substance abuse and mental health services, maternal health, children and families, the American Rescue Plan Act, and programming for older adults.
