Rep. Sykes named the Summit County Women of the Year the Champions of the Week for #OH13.

Congresswoman Sykes named the Summit County Historical Society’s Women of the Year the Champions of the Week for Ohio’s 13th Congressional District! Honorees included Sarah Abood, Laura Davis, Khatonia Ford, Lillie Jackson, Lois Matney, Miriam Ray, Kathy Ress, and Jane Startzman. It is everyday citizens doing remarkable things who help make our community the “Birthplace of Champions.” Recipients of the 2026 Women of the Year Awards are certainly champions in their own right and have made Summit County and Ohio’s 13th Congressional District proud.
