Rep. Sykes Recognizes Alexandria Brown as the OH-13 Champion of the Week

Congratulations to Alexandria Brown for being named Ohio’s 13th Congressional District’s Champion of the Week!  Alexandria is a fire medic for the City of Green and the founder of Female Firefighters of Ohio, a non-profit dedicated to providing resources for aspiring female firefighters through training, mentorship, and preparation for the fire service.  Today, fewer than 10% of firefighters are women. In order to increase the number of women in her field, Alexandria reaches out to aspiring female firefighters to provide support, including access to mentorship programs and monthly training sessions to gain critical experience and necessary certifications.  Thank you for your hard work, Alexandria, and congratulations on being named Champion of the Week!
