Rep. Sykes Recognizes Gun Violence Awareness Month
Congresswoman Sykes spoke on the House floor in recognition of Gun Violence Awareness Month. This week marks the two-year anniversary of a mass shooting in Akron that left one person dead and 28 injured. Already this year, our country has experienced more than 160 mass shootings. Congresswoman Sykes will not stop fighting until every family can feel safe and secure from gun violence, no matter where they live.
