Standing Up Against Rising Health Care Costs

Congresswoman Sykes spoke on the House floor to stand up against rising health care costs. The enhanced ACA premium tax credits expired at the end of last year and health coverage is now more expensive. Families are already feeling the impact. We cannot forget the real people caught in the middle. Families now must decide between health care and other everyday costs. Access to health care should be a right, not a gamble. But Republicans refused to act. They let deadlines pass, premiums rise, and coverage disappear. That is not leadership. That is failure.
