Rep. Sykes Announces More Than $5.1 Million in HHS Grants Awarded To Ohio’s 13th Congressional District
AKRON, OH — U.S. Representative Emilia Strong Sykes (OH-13) announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded seven grants to Ohio’s 13th Congressional District totaling $5,163,154.
“Securing federal funding for our district is a top priority for my office, and I'm proud to collaborate with the Department of Health and Human Services on these vital initiatives. These projects not only enhance the well-being of our community, but also pave the way for innovative solutions that benefit local organizations and businesses attuned to our district's specific needs," said Rep. Sykes. "I want to commend Oriana House, Inc., the Young Women’s Christian Association of Canton, Asian Services in Action, Inc., Axesspointe Community Health Center, My Community Health Center, Community Support Services, Inc., and Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron for their groundbreaking programs that contribute to the targeted and holistic wellness of those living in Ohio’s 13th Congressional District."
